Stop Puppy Biting with Simple and Effective Methods

I would like to share some simple and effective training techniques that will help your puppy to become a much loved and treasured member of your family.

Everyone is excited about the new addition to the family, an adorable little puppy. To stop puppy biting, a good beginning is crucial. This is just one of the many house training a puppy lessons to be learned, by both of you.

Lots of “people” contact right from the start is essential to stop puppy biting. Petting and handling often will make your puppy more comfortable being around people. They will quickly understand that touching is a loving gesture from humans.

Once they are comfortable with the family you can introduce others to the puppy’s environment. Make sure that strangers approach gently, holding out a hand with the palm down so the dog can smell their sent first before touching the animal.

Each breed of dog is a little different. Boxer puppy training is just one example. They are strong willed dogs and will need you to take charge.

It is common for puppies to bite when they are around 3 to 10 months old. As part of dog training, dog owner should understand the nature of puppy biting. Giving them the right objects to bite will discipline them.
